Gregorian colt, cost €46,000 as a yearling. Dam a sprint winner. Yard do well with their juveniles and worth watching in the market.

Kodiac colt, cost €180,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to useful sprinter Goodwood Crusader and dam a sprint winner and half-sister to Group 3 winner. Bred for this test and yard do well with their sprinters, plenty to like on paper.
Dream Ahead colt, cost 62,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Italian Group 1 winner amongst many others and dam a useful sprinter. Trainer's early season juveniles usually forward but last of three on debut last time and others preferred.

Dark Angel colt, cost £120,000 as a yearling. Dam was placed in Group company over a mile. Looks like one for middle distances rather than this sort of this trip.

Elzaam colt, cost €20,000 as a foal and £35,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a juvenile who won over sprint trips and dam was a winner over further. Yard can ready one for a debut a betting market likely to be the best guide to this ones chance.

Sepoy colt, cost 12,500 gns as a foal and £30,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed Penkenna Princess amongst others. Others make more appeal.
Scat Daddy colt, dam a dirt winner and sister to the dam of a Grade 1 winner. Represents powerful connections but two-year-old debutantes often in need of their first outing and cut in the ground is a worry given his dirt pedigree.

Olympic Glory colt, cost 85,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to a juvenile sprint winner and dam a Listed winner over sprint trips. Well beaten on debut at Bath in very testing ground but yard are flying and not ruled out back on better ground.

Forecasts

Van Beethoven (9/4), Jackstar (11/4), I Am A Dreamer (9/2), Ynys Mon (6/1), Ballistic (16/1), Pesci (16/1), Aloysius Lilius (16/1), Treasure Quest (20/1)

Verdict

YNYS MON clearly didn't appreciate the extremely testing ground at Bath when last seen but with that experience under his belt, he may be able to do better for a yard that are flying at present. Ballistic looks all speed in his pedigree and may be capable of running well for Robert Cowell, a trainer who excels with sprinters. Van Beethoven can't be ruled out given his connections but any cut in the ground would probably be against him given his pedigree.
  1. Ynys Mon
  2. Ballistic
  3. Van Beethoven
