Scored over this trip at Leicester from a mark of 67 in October, but well held by the handicapper in two completed starts since, including on the Tapeta at Newcastle last time (6f). Return to this trip may help but looks to have a stiff task.
Has shown ability in all four starts so far, though not yet got his nose in front. His neck second at Kempton last time (7f) was good in context and from the same mark he has decent claims from good draw, provided he handles this surface.
Has put in a couple of decent efforts in her last two starts at Lingfield (1m) and then here over C&D last time, when a 2½L fourth of 11 in novices' company. Mark not lenient for nusery debut but there should be improvement in here. Visor now tried.
Best effort so far was over 5f at Sandown (good) in September when a 1½L fourth in maiden company. Went reasonably well over this trip last time and now tries this surface for the first time on his nursery debut. Draw not ideal and needs to improve.
Made the frame in first three starts in maiden/novices' company for Richard Fahey, his best effort being over this trip at Musselburgh in August. 3lb lower today than for well beaten nursery debut when last seen and makes stable debut. Market check.
Made the frame a couple of times for Owen Burrows and repeated the feat on his debut for this trainer at Newcastle (6f, Tapeta) last time. Same mark today and nicely drawn. so no surprise if he were to emerge as a leading contender.
Has been competitive in all his last three starts on various All Weather surfaces, including on Tapeta at Newcastle. Scored over 6f at Chelmsford last time, for which he has gone up 6lb. More required but not yet exposed and can't rule him out.
Took a stride forward in all three starts for Robert Eddery, making the frame at Yarmouth (6f, soft) last time. Upped in trip/stable and All Weather debut today and mark looks fair enough, so market check suggested to gauge any confidence.
Made a marked improvement at Chelmsford last time (his first run since being gelded), when 1¾L second over 7f from today's mark. Now tries this venue for the first time and certainly not beyond improvement, so has to enter calculations again.
Several have claims in this nursery, including Poetic Imagination, Phoenix Lightning, Reverberation, last-time winner Swissal and both Laubali and Bezos, though the suggestion is MR GENT. Drawn well, he has shown that there is one of these races in him and today could be the day.
