Cost 200,000 gns as a foal, and this Kodiac colt was strongest at the finish when scoring over 7f on debut at Lingfield last month. Penalty to carry, but looks most competitive, with this extra furlong a plus.
Hasn't shown masses of obvious ability thus far, and appears to be the type to do better in time and will qualify for a handicap mark after this race.
Sixties Icon colt who started at odds of 100/1 over C&D last month, and was never involved in finishing a tailed off 13th of 14 to Tanseeq.
Beautifully bred colt whose dam Spectacle was a twice raced half-sister to Derby and Arc winner Workforce. Looked in need of the experience on debut at Yarmouth in August when eighth of 14 to Il Primo Sole.
Didn't quite see out the 1m2f trip when a 2L runner up to Ispolini here last month, but there was plenty of promise in that run, and this 150,000 gns Mastercraftsman yearling looks a leading contender now dropped back to 1m.
Cost 50,000 gns as a yearling, but looked green when finishing well down the field on debut at Wolverhampton last month (1m1f+). Improvement required.
Brother to 1m4f winner Fleetwood Poppy, and he hit the frame despite proving difficult to load on debut over C&D in October (beaten 6½L by Tenedos). More required and most likely needs further.
Unraced third foal by Pastoral Pursuits out of a very modest dam (Engaging). Cost just £2,000 gns as a yearling and looks to have plenty on his plate here.
Dawn Approach colt who cost 62,000 gns as a yearling and is progressing nicely after two career starts. Very much on the premises, despite racing wide, when a narrowly beaten 6/4f (fourth) over C&D last week.
Unraced Dansili colt by Victoire Finale. Ninth foal who is closely related to others to have carried these silks including Vuela and Vanity Queen. Half-brother to Volume, Validus and Velux, so very much a horse to respect.
Dawn Approach filly who showed speed, but signs of temperament on her second start at Lingfield last month, and needs to improve massively on her final finishing position of seventh of ten.
Unraced third foal by Finjaan out of It's The War. Half-sister to 1m4f winner Tewafeedj, but this race looks an overly competitive starting point. Hooded.

STATEHOOD was strong at the finish when scoring on debut over 7f at Lingfield, and a step up in trip to 1m looks the order of the day. This Kodiac colt cost 200,000 gns as a foal, and despite having a penalty to carry for that success looks the most likely winner on paper. Tum Tum should be thereabouts on his third start, and will be better suited by his low draw tonight, whilst Glencadam Master will almost certainly expose any stamina weaknesses (not anticipated) of the selection after a pleasing effort over further (1m2f) when runner up to the Godolphin owned Ipsolini last month. Of the newcomers, Valyrian is certainly a horse to respect on his pedigree.
