One win from eight starts at the track, and has found life hard since winning in the summer. Not disgraced again latest but overall is hard to win with, and this mark still looks a touch on the high side. Others make more appeal.
Has been steadily refinding his form over the autumn and looked about ready to strike after latest close second at Newcastle. Track should suit and on a good looking mark today, looks one of the more likely ones.
Ready winner at Wolverhampton two start back but couldn't follow up when made a short-priced favourite the week after, although in fairness, not beaten far. Young rider in cracking form and takes a vital 7lb off, which brings him right into the mix.
Back to form on latest couple of starts, getting up late in the day here in November and then running better still at Kempton last time, but they were both over 6f and unless getting a strong pace here (unlikely) may arrive on the scene too late.
Is a C&D winner here in the past, but that was when he was in much better form than he is now, and it's over a year since he was on the scoresheet. Has gone close on the odd occasion but not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Capable of good form on much higher marks than this but form this year rather suggests he's on the downgrade, and he showed little on first run for new yard last tie out, weakening quickly. Only of interest if strong in the market.
Occasionally blasts out and makes all when conditions are right, but can hang under pressure and isn't the most resolute when tackled. Poor effort earlier in the week and needs to bounce back.
Old boy having a renaissance at present, winning twice at Wolverhampton and has fared well with the draw here, as he likes to attack from the starting pistol. Up in grade and the weights but in uch rude health, hard to say he can't get the hat-trick
Chance on form as he did narrowly beat Swendab here in September and weighted to confirm that, but Swendab has improved since and may not find it easy. Happier in lower grade and on that, others preferred.
Poor overall win record tempers confidence but did make all to win over C&D back in May, albeit in lower grade than today. Not seen out since the summer, though, so with yard out of form, is easy enough to pass over today.
Forecasts
Berryessa (7/2), Bahamian Heights (5/1), Dundunah (5/1), Swendab (6/1), Red Stripes (8/1), Zipedeedodah (10/1), Mighty Zip (10/1), Fast Act (10/1), Penny Dreadful (14/1), Yorkee Mo Sabee (14/1)
SWENDAB is flying at present and has the plot draw from which to work from again. Expect to see him pop out and try and make all the running. Dundunah has been finding his feet again and looks the main danger. Berryessa has a young pilot on board that can do no wrong at the moment and he can take home the minor money.
