On a long losing sequence and in poor shape for Roger Ingram earlier this year. Off since March, and now with a new trainer, but impossible to recommend.

Wore a visor for the first time when showing improved form to finish second at Kempton (1m) last month. Looks rather paceless, so worth a try over further.

A 12 race AW maiden (three time 1m scorer on turf). Nearest at the finish, beaten approximately 2L by Raashdy over 1m3f at Kempton last month.

Won just once in 22 career starts (over 1m on turf in October 2015). Handicap mark is plummeting, but with good reason, and the visor is now applied.

A ten race maiden, but with some bits and pieces of placed form. Beaten a closing 1L by Mach One over 1m here earlier in the month, and considered now stepped up in trip.

Falling in the weights to a career low mark, and has had a short break since her last start in August. 2lb below her sole career success in May (1m), but 0 from 16 on the AW.

A three time winner since December 2016, including twice over C&D from this kind of mark. Knocking at the door of late, and likely to be involved despite a wide draw.

A seven race maiden who has stamina doubts, and clearly didn't stay 1m4f at Kempton last week. Wears first time cheek-pieces.

Gone backwards since a modest handicap debut fourth at Wolverhampton in mid October. Now an eight race maiden, with stamina to prove upped in trip.

His career statistics read 1 from 52, so a mark of just 42 isn't an insult. Off since mid June and likely to struggle.

Beaten just a neck by Buskin River over 1m at Brighton in early September, but hasn't really shown up on the AW in two starts since. Her best trip looks open to much debate.

Forecasts

Mcdelta (11/4), Never Folding (3/1), Master Of Heaven (5/1), Huddersfilly Town (6/1), Optima Petamus (8/1), Latest Quest (12/1), Tarseekh (14/1), Subotal (20/1), Saint Helena (20/1), Dawn Goddess (22/1), Sheer Intensity (28/1), Awesome Rock (33/1), Power Up (33/1), Ambuscade (40/1)

Verdict

A low grade handicap in which many of those in the line up have stamina doubts. The list of potential winners is a relatively short one, but C&D specialist Master Of Heaven is close to his last winning mark, and knocking at the door of late would've been the selection with a better draw. Both Tarseekh and McDelta have stronger claims than many based upon their recent AW efforts, but look short of a change of gears, so the vote goes to NEVER FOLDING. Still a maiden, she has reasonable form off higher marks than today's and appeared in need of a step up in trip when 1L second to Mach One over 1m here earlier in the month.
