Took this 12 months ago from 2lb lower. Ground has been too soft on last two starts but he had appeared to be coming to hand at Kempton prior to those runs. Generally picks up a race a year and looks set to take advantage of his current mark soon.
Record stands at 2-28 but trainer has been struggling to place her this season due to a bad handicap rating. Now below her last winning mark and yard 5-13 here with their older horses. Drops significantly in class and goes well on this surface.
Goes well here and picked up his first races on turf this summer. Has paid a heavy price for those and handicapper looks in charge for now. Tough draw to overcome.
Came to hand around here last November and her last two starts, both under this rider, suggest she is approaching her peak. Well treated on her best form so has to be considered.
Record of 12-67 but yet to win over this trip. Took advantage of a more lenient turf mark during the summer and ran a good race on return from a summer break. Looks set to win more races this winter from an AW mark which is looking attractive.
Handicap mark continues to fall in the wake of disappointing efforts on turf and AW surfaces. Draw here does not help his cause and he looks easy to pass over.
Dual winner who produced a career best when third in a Kempton 6f handicap last time. The way she was staying on indicates this extra furlong is what she requires. Stable are going well and are 7-27 with three-year-olds here since 2013.
Has been struggling this yea with the handicapper taking time to realise he is not as effective on turf as he is on AW tracks. Good effort at Redcar last month but his six victories have come in lower grade and he faces competition for the lead.
Landed four races in March here and at Southwell. Mark is beginning to drop but remains 5lb above his last winning mark. This looks easier than some of his more recent efforts and worth checking in the market.
Without a win in over two years so carries obvious risks. Good effort on AW debut here two weeks ago and well drawn to give another good account from the front.
Took advantage of a plunging mark to land his seventh Wolverhampton victory. Went well here next time but that form has been knocked since. Has struggled from this mark lately.
Supported to take advantage of a plunging mark last time but produced his worst performance of the campaign. Chances on his best form but that recent run requires some explanation.
Improved for the application of blinkers to land a gamble over 6f and ran a solid race in a visor over this C&D last time. Five-time winner on AW surfaces but yet to score from a mark this high.
Has run some good races around here in defeat including when a 50/1 shot over 1m here two weeks ago. Benefitted from the way that race was run and yard are 1-98 since September.

Most of these can be given a chance of one sort or another and here should be a good gallop with Midnight Macchiato and Call Out Loud in the field. Tropical Rock is a lightly raced filly from an in form yard that do well here and Firmdecisions is attractively enough weighted to have a realistic chance of following up last year's success. Lunar Deity and Pearl Spectre look set to have a good winter from their current marks but a tentative vote goes to SUMMER ICON. Mick Channon's filly has been taking on better horses than this in conditions events. A drop in her rating allows him to pitch her into this more modest company and his older horses have an excellent strike rate around here. She was an impressive winner of class 3 handicap in January and was placed in a Naas Group 3 in May. A mark of 86 looks generous and she should offer some value.
