Winner on debut at Deauville before the runner-up from the contest reversed the form in a Group 3 on second start. That form has a solid look to it and yard's runners always respected when brought over here but this looks a tough ask.

Handicap winner at Doncaster and followed up with a Group 3 win at Naas on soft ground. Runner-up and third not done much for the form since and she needs another sizable chunk of improvement to land this. Seemingly second-string on jockey bookings.

Followed debut win with an excellent second in a Group 3 at Deauville (winner a runner-up in a Group 1 since) and went one better herself in Group 2 company at Doncaster last time. Still lightly raced and ought to be thereabouts if in the same form.

Followed a promising debut with a respectable effort in Class 4 company at Ascot last time but this is much tougher and likely to struggle.

Got the better of stablemate Happily in a Group 2 at the Curragh but that rival has reversed the form since. Solid effort in defeat in a French Group 1 last time so certainly respected. However, Happily is the first-string on jockey bookings.

Couldn't have been any more impressive when winning over C&D on debut, running on strongly in the closing stages. Likely to take a sizable step forward and significant she's entered this deep on just her second start for a yard in excellent form.

Winner at the Curragh on debut but well beaten by three of today's rivals last time (Happily, Magical, September). Needs to improve and with those rivals also capable of improvement, she's likely to have a tough task on her hands. Up in trip.

Surprise 18/1 winner on debut but beaten by re-opposing Nyaleti next time out and work on to reverse the form with Laurens from last time. Wears a first-time tongue-tie and must improve.

Game front-runner, just touched off here last time over 7f in a Group 2. Finished ½L third to Laurens the time before and unlikely to get an easy lead here. Probably best watched with a more exposed profile than most.

Followed up a Doncaster debut win with a win over 7f here on second start. Well beaten in a fairly moderate Group 3 last time though and needs to improve markedly on that form.

Got the better of Nyaleti in Listed company at Royal Ascot but beaten by her two re-opposing stablemates on two starts since and progress seemingly tailed off for now. Possible she will appreciate the return to faster ground so can't be ruled out.

Forecasts

Happily (13/8), Magical (15/8), September (9/2), Efaadah (11/2), Magic Lily (8/1), Nyaleti (8/1), Laurens (10/1), Ellthea (20/1), Muirin (20/1), Musical Art (33/1), Quivery (50/1), Lubinka (150/1)

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last three renewals of this race, most notably with seven-time Group 1 winner Minding and he sends a trio of runners with solid claims this time around. September hasn't managed to get the better of either of her stablemates on both of her most recent starts but she may be seen to better effect back on a sounder surface. Magical just failed to hold on in a Curragh Group 1 two starts back and is likely to try and make the running again but preference is for Happily who got the better of both the aforementioned rivals when they last met. The way she finished her race in a French Group 1 last time shows she could be even better now campaigned at the mile. Laurens could be the main danger if she improves again after a smart effort in a Group 2 at Doncaster last time while Magic Lilly makes up the shortlist but is hard to fancy on just her second run.
  1. Happily
  2. Laurens
  3. Magical
