Entered for the Group One Bet365 Mile next month and represents the yard that took this in 2015. Ran better than the market suggested she would on debut and the form has worked out nicely.

Galileo filly and a sister to Group 2 winner and Nassau Stakes runner-up Wedding Vow. Highly tried on first two starts and almost stole a Leopardstown maiden three weeks ago when the front two pulled clear. The one to beat on that performance.

A 400,000 guineas yearling she's a sister to the high-class 5f performer Mecca's Angel. Showed signs of temperament last time when down the field at Newcastle and this looks a lot tougher.

78,000 gns daughter of Australian star Redoute's Choice out of a winning dam who has produced three middle-distance winners the pick of whom is Glorious Protector. Yard have had five juvenile winners in the past two weeks.
By French Derby winner Intello and half-sister to the useful juvenile Glitter Girl. Yard's juvenile string are beginning to fire with a couple of debutante successes in the past two weeks.

Down the field in two track maidens and faces another stiff task. Bred to want further and one to note when handicapping.

Eighth foal by Declaration of War out 1m2f Listed winner Briolette. Looked green on debut but showed enough to suggest her trainer had something to work with. This looks a tougher assignment though.

Well down the field in two Yarmouth races that looked much weaker than this. Hinted at ability on debut but looks one for a lower grade handicap at some stage.

Yard do not have many juvenile winners but this one cost 85,000 gns. There was much to like about her Brighton debut and this trip should see her to better effect. Needs to find plenty but that is not out of the question.

Latest effort suggested she is going the right way but this is harder than her two previous races. Jockey booking is positive but she appeals more as one for a back end nursery.

By Breeders Cup Sprint winner Speightstown out of a well-related dam who has an AW juvenile winner. These colours have landed two of the five previous runnings of this and she is definitely one to check in the ring.

Bye Bye Baby (11/10), Altyn Orda (2/1), Umaimah (15/2), Moon Song (10/1), French Heroine (16/1), Glitterdust (16/1), Princess Harley (20/1), Sigrid Nansen (33/1), Livvys Dream (40/1), Faay (50/1), Late Change (50/1), Miss Minding (100/1)

Verdict

Newcomers have won the last four renewals of this and the Haggas pair Unaimah and French Heroine along with Moon Song and Glitterdust are worth noting for their activity in the pre-race markets. On this occasion it will take an above average horse to trouble the experienced pair of BYE BYE BABY and Altyn Orda. The Balydoyle runner competed at Group Three level on her second start before just failing under a positive ride last time. She sets a high standard and holds an Irish 1,000 Guineas entry. With the stamina for a mile she can kick going into the dip and have plenty left for the final hill. Altyn Orda belied odds of 25/1 on debut with a promising second in a race that has worked out. She holds a Group One entry and looks the main threat to the selection.
  1. Bye Bye Baby
  2. Altyn Orda
  3. Umaimah
