Right back to form with a Group 2 win at the Goodwood Festival, benefiting from a strong pace and a fine ride by today's jockey. Respectable fourth last time and won't mind any rain but he needs everything to drop right. Won this last year.
Came good this time last year, recording a hat-trick, culminating in a win in Group 2 company. Produced a career best last time when just touched off in a French Group 1 and solid claims if turning up in the same mood again.
Very useful and game front-runner who was just touched off by Breton Rock in Goodwood Group 2 last time, having gone off marginally too hard. Proven at this level and won't mind some cut in the ground; could be hard to beat if granted an easy lead.
Group 2 winner at the Curragh but well beaten last time at Goodwood and may struggle to reverse the form, with no obvious excuses that day. Won a maiden on heavy ground but all his best form is on fast ground and unlikely to want rain.
Has progressed well this season, winning a Listed race at Chester in July, and respectable effort in a Group 3 at Goodwood last time out. Needs a fair amount more here though and others arrive with stronger claims.
Runner-up in a Group 1 behind Minding as a juvenile and won a Group 3 at Newmarket last year before narrowly denied in a French Group 1 later that year. Running well in defeat this campaign and enjoys soft ground but she has to improve to win this.
Group 3 winner at the Curragh last year but a little out of form this time around and finished a well beaten last of nine at the Curragh. Bit to prove now and Moore prefers Spirit Of Valor.
Listed winner last year but largely out of form this time around, bar a fine effort in the Bunbury Cup. May be flying too high here and he's disappointed on rain softened ground before but less exposed than most in here at least.
Forecasts
Home Of The Brave (9/4), Aclaim (3/1), Breton Rock (6/1), Nathra (13/2), Spirit of Valor (13/2), Sir Dancealot (8/1), Peace Envoy (25/1), Viscount Barfield (28/1)
HOME OF THE BRAVE may be the one to side with after a fine effort at Goodwood last time out and he ought to get an easy time on the front end here. Aclaim enjoyed an upturn in form this time last year and he was impressive when contesting Group 1 company last time out. Breton Rock is another who shouldn't be left out of the equation having won this last year but he does have to concede weight to some useful sorts.
