Has not shown a huge amount so far, although a couple of his novices' runs last autumn were reasonable in the context of this. Drops in class here for his third handicap start and that may be the route to better things.
Put up his best of five hurdles runs to date at Market Rasen last time, albeit being beaten 14½L. Dropped 3lb for that and with this longer trip likely to prove positive, he is very interesting with the champion jockey up for the first time.
Stays about 1m4f on the Flat and seems to go on most ground. 0-11 over hurdles, however, though he is now 6lb lower than when going reasonably well over C&D in March and if he is in that mood then he might have an each-way squeak.
Was off the track just over a year before returning with an encouraging run in a Worcester claiming hurdle (2m4f, good) last month. Now back in a handicap from the same mark, he again has frame claims.
Has won six times on the Flat over 7f/1m, where he just about sees out 1m2f. Yet to make the frame over hurdles and this trip is likely to ask too many questions of his stamina.
Five-time point-to-point winner who has not been seen since the last of those wins in May 2016. Stays 4m1f and is 0-3 under rules. The combination of all that does not have her marked up as an obvious winner over this trip today.
Won a Newton Abbot maiden hurdle under Richard Johnson a couple of years ago but it has largely been a tale of woe since then and he is now rated 28lb lower. Recent efforts have offered no encouragement and he is impossible to recommend at present.
Has made the frame just once from six attempts over hurdles, last time out at Uttoxeter, although he was beaten 34L there (2m7½f, good). 4lb lower going into this and has since left Jennie Candlish. Others preferred.
Has won three chases at up to 2m3f, though yet to score from nine hurdles outings. Back on same mark as his latest chase win, so has claims if able to transfer that ability back to hurdles, but that is far from certain.
Has run well enough despite being beaten favourite from today's mark on his last two starts, his first two for this yard. Late mistakes have cost him on those races, so if he can keep a clean sheet then he would have strong claims.

Alfred Roller is interesting now dropped in class here, while On Alberts Head is a more obvious contender, though he needs to iron out his jumping when put under pressure. He could again go well but might succumb to HONGKONG ADVENTURE, whose hurdling career may be about to take shape after a promising effort last time. The step up in trip and booking of the champion jockey both look very positive moves. Bandol, Zamoyski and Stonemadforspeed are others who should be in the hunt for prize money.
