Finished a very long way out of the picture on debut when finishing fourteenth at Fairyhouse, having been sent off an unfancied 33/1. Steps up in trip here but has plenty to find.

Improved slightly on her second start, after finishing behind Sizzling on their respective debuts. More needed now but seems to be a progressive sort.

Finished last of all on debut at Cork last time, when she had some excuses but not enough for there to be much enthusiasm for her chance here now dropped back in trip.

Has run nice enough races on each of her starts so far that, despite remaining a maiden, she looks easily of the quality to win a race such as this. Could well prove to be a cut above the rest of these in time and is the one to beat.

Ran a solid enough race on debut when finishing just behind Sizzling over C&D. Needs to come forward from that performance in a deeper race and may lack the class edge to do so.
Galileo filly and a sister to Group 2 winner and Nassau Stakes runner-up Wedding Vow. Many of these stable's debutantes have needed their first run this year, but on pedigree she makes plenty of appeal.

Excelebration filly who cost €160,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Scream Blue Murder. Interesting on paper, and worth a check in the market on debut.

50/1
Dandy Man half-sister to Listed-level winner Lily's Rainbow, but that particularly talented filly has been this trainer's only juvenile winner in the past five years, and even she was well beaten on debut.

Muirin

16/1
Born To Sea filly who makes her debut here having cost €41,000 as a yearling. Dam was a Group 3 winner and this trip shouldn't be a problem for her on paper.

33/1
Big Bad Bob filly, the second foal of her dam. Her half-brother's only victory came over this specialist trip, but she lacks a class angle in her pedigree.

Forecasts

Sizzling (2/5), Bye Bye Baby (11/2), Punked (9/1), Uluru Park (9/1), Iiex Excelsa (14/1), Muirin (16/1), Encantador (33/1), Oyster Queen (33/1), Rionach (40/1), Julia's Magic (50/1)

Verdict

A couple of these look interesting on paper but the only filly here to have shown genuine promise so far is SIZZLING. This filly by Galileo has run to a good level on her three starts so far and can be considered somewhat unlucky not to have yet gotten off the mark. She very much sets the standard and could easily win this well depending on how good the newcomers turn out to be. Of those debutantes, Bye Bye Baby, another daughter of Galileo, and Iiex Excelsa, a half-sister to a Group 3 winner, make most appeal.
  1. Sizzling
  2. Bye Bye Baby
  3. Iiex Excelsa
