Like so many switched to this new trainer, improved for it when hosing up at Newton Abbot on first run for the yard and won with tons in hand. No issue with soft underfoot conditions and with the champion jockey booked again, will be a popular choice to follow up under a penalty here.
Some ability shown in novice hurdles, best run actually coming (despite finishing last) at Southwell last October in a useful novice hurdle. Hasn't yet reproduced that in handicaps but early days, and ought not to be written off just yet, with the hood today possibly a help.
Has shown little to date and well beaten in handicaps last two efforts, although ran a bit better than finishing position suggests last time out (weakened at the last). Possibly more to come and market may be the best guide as to chance.
Three runs to date, goes into handicaps off a basement mark but the race she finished third in at Stratford last time was weak, and she was easily brushed aside. Can only be watched at present.
Needs a second look purely as an Irish raider, and Irish trainers do well at Uttoxeter. Latest effort forgiven as the tack broke, but hadn't shown much previously, and you're taking a bit of a flyer she'll improve today.
Infrequent winner, but hard to knock her current form and she is a C&D winner that's coming over from Ireland to contest this, so of some interest on that alone. Didn't fare too badly against a well-handicapped one at Cartmel latest and more likely to run her race than a few here. Won't mind any rain either.
Pulled too hard on debut for the yard at Southwell earlier in the month, and no surprise to see the addition of the hood today, but did show some ability there and if headgear works, may yet improve for his new yard.
Third at Worcester two starts back a respectable effort, but couldn't reproduce that over this C&D next time out, only highlighting his inconsistency. Still a maiden after 19 starts and hard to fancy here.
Yet to break his duck after 32 starts and although a decent enough effort at Perth recently, clearly beatable, wouldn't want much more rain and that losing run looks likely to stretch to 33 here.
It seems churlish to try to look beyond KNIGHT COMMANDER under the penalty as he won with such authority at Newton Abbot, he'll be hard to stop if in the same form here. Mash Potato may well pick up some more place money at a venue he likes, and a look in the market is necessary for both Ballyandrew and Falcos too.
