Made his debut in a 6f novices event at York earlier this month and was sent off a well-backed 10/11 favourite. Showed signs of temperament before the race but all went smooth in the race itself as he made all to win by half-a-length. Nice sort and stable in form, he will be there or thereabouts at the finish.
Making his debut this afternoon and his trainer has had a few winners over the last couple of weeks. A son of Pastoral Pursuits, he is certainly one to watch in the betting exchanges and any significant support should be noted.

Has been sent off at odds of 33/1 in each of his two races so far at Carlisle and Newcastle, showing clear signs of ability, fading in the latter stages when beaten 12L over 6f last time. Drops back to the minimum trip this afternoon and needs to step things up another notch.

Made a quick start on his debut run over 5f at Beverley, but the uphill finish took its toll as he dropped away in the closing stages. Again was up with the pace at York last time when just under 4L behind Tulip Fever and he could be the one they all have to catch.
Stable's juveniles have been in good heart this year and he was sent off favourite for his debut run over 6f at Nottingham in May but he was outpaced from halfway. Failed to improve over 5f at Carlisle last time out having been gelded, has the ability to win a race this season.

A beaten favourite in his two races so far over 5f in Ireland but is a winner waiting to happen. Beaten 4L behind the useful Sirici at Dundalk last time out, he runs for a new yard this afternoon and is well worth another chance. Sure to take plenty of beating.

Made her debut over the minimum trip at Beverley earlier this month and a bump early in the race certainly did her no favours. Beaten just under 9L behind the winner, Wirral Girl, she will come on from that run and is open to any amount of improvement.

Made her debut at Lingfield last month and was never really a threat behind the impressive winner Elizabeth Bennet, who was not disgraced in a Listed race at Newmarket next time. Seemed to hang a bit when beaten 2L over 5f at Nottingham last time but merits serious consideration here today.

She made her debut over this CD back in April. Easy in the market that day, she was staying on without ever looking like reaching the leaders and will improve with experience. Could go well here at a decent price.

Has been racing up with the pace in both of her races to date over 5f, at Redcar and Beverley, fading in the latter stages each time. Has attracted little in the way of market support in those races and she needs to improve to secure this prize.

Daughter of Intense Focus is making her racecourse debut here this afternoon and is one to keep an eye on in the market as it could provide the best guide in respect of her chances.

Forecasts

Moseeb (1/1), Royal Diplomat (3/1), Viscount Loftus (5/1), Arizona Mist (6/1), Laith Alareen (12/1), Bow Belles (14/1), Navarra Princess (20/1), Bowgey Man (25/1), Alaskan Beauty (28/1), Panophobia (50/1), Burn Some Dust (50/1), Lady Lintera (100/1)

Verdict

Alaskan Beauty was not given that hard a race at Beverley having been hampered at the start and she will definitely improve for that run here. Moseeb showed clear signs of temperament before making a winning start over 6f at York and he remains a colt with a lot of potential. He will be there or thereabouts at the finish here, while Laith Alareen has shown a lot of early pace in two races to date and is the one they all have to catch. The vote, however, goes to ARIZONA MIST. She shaped with some promise behind a useful sort on her debut and was not beaten that far last time despite hanging a little during the race. This track will suit and she can open her account at the third attempt.
  1. Arizona Mist
  2. Moseeb
  3. Laith Alareen
