Popped up from nowhere to take a valuable handicap hurdle at Cheltenham last year, but showed it was no fluke with a good third at Sandown the time after. Has found life hard since, warmed up for this with a run at Windsor on the Flat and won't mind a bit of rain, but hard to predict.

Dual Grade 1 winner at his peak back in 2014, not capable of that form now but still useful at this level and only just touched off at Wetherby in April. Trip and ground fine but long time between drinks at the bar, last win coming in 2015. Others preferred for the win.

Showed some useful hurdles form last year, defeat of Blue Surf at Huntingdon a solid effort and again when beating Apasionado at Kempton. Right-handed tracks seem to suit, may have more to offer as a hurdler but may need rain to stay away here. Chances if it does.

Won with plenty in hand at Worcester but second looked reluctant and put up no fight once tackled, so form possibly not as good as it looks. Given a 7lb rise for that and needs more here, though clearly has a good turn of foot on her day and yard still going well, so not discounted.

Lightly raced for one his age, and still capable of good form on his day as he showed at Perth last time, but did rather throw that race away on the run in so may need producing very late again here. Track will suit and any rain is fine, so needs shortlisting in a tricky event.

There might not be much pace on here - it's possible that Call The Cops might go from the front, but he looks a fading light these days and preference is for the in-form TANGOLAN, who may be better over fences these days but is on too good a mark to resist here. Whatsdjazz might be a bit flattered by her latest win but she's clearly going the right way and can prove the danger. Solway Dandy has his quirks but can get involved.
