Got off the mark over hurdles in maiden company at Gowran in September, but has struggled in handicaps since that success. Handicapper has been relatively slow to offer respite, so connections now try a longer trip.
His last eight starts have come over fences, and he's been on the premises on a couple of occasions, including when fourth of 14 to Robin De Roost at Wexford over this trip earlier in the month. Makes some appeal on that showing, but races from a 10lb higher mark over hurdles based upon winning form in 2015.
Clearly has had his issues, with previous victories for Henry De Bromhead and Andrew McNamara punctuated by absences from the track. However, back to form for this trainer when upped to 2m5f at Limerick last week (beat Coolmill by a neck) and should go well from a 4lb higher mark.
Bits and pieces of form in a relatively light career, including when winning a 3m maiden hurdle at Tipperary in April 2015. Probably needs a longer trip than this (third here in May over 2m6f), but rain is forecast and that will suit.
Won a weak maiden at Roscommon in August 2016 and has been routinely outgunned in subsequent handicaps. Fallen 7lb in the weights and is upped in trip for the first time with cheek-pieces added as his trainer seeks to unlock his potential.
Getting closer to capitalising on a falling mark, but was still beaten 10L when a runner up to Tellthemnuttin over 3m at Down Royal in late May. Off since and others boast more persuasive credentials.
Now ten-years-old and without a win since August 2015, but went agonisingly close over 2m5f at Limerick last week, when beaten a neck by Double Speak. Also declared to race at this track on Wednesday (8.30pm).
Has fallen late in the contest on each of her last two starts over fences, and might have went close enough on both of those occasions if remaining upright. Switched back to hurdles, this three time winner could well play a hand in the finish with stamina assured.
5L winner of a 2m3f+ Kilbeggan maiden hurdle in August 2016 (beat Black Ace), but has lost his way slightly after a reasonable enough handicap debut at Roscommon in October. Might need this race having been absent since November.
A five time career winner (1 from 22 over hurdles), but just had a couple of runs for this trainer so far. Returned from a break with a fairly pleasing 3L third over 2m at Tramore to Zanjabeel, and probably ran a similar enough race next time at Wexford when seventh to Camlann.
Made all and kept on well to take a 2m5f Tramore maiden hurdle in early June (good), which was reward for a fair previous runners up effort in handicap company at Cork. However, posted a poor showing at Limerick just under a fortnight ago and needs to bounce back quickly.
Winner on the Flat for Aidan O'Brien last year, and won by a nose over 2m5f on good ground in a Downpatrick maiden hurdle on just his second ever start over timber. Not disgraced when third on handicap debut at Limerick recently and chances despite being upped another pound.
Kayf Tara mare scored a maiden hurdle win at Cork in August over 2m3f, but has been beaten in four handicap outings since, so probably held by the handicapper at present.
Won just once in 20 starts (at Fairyhouse in November 2015), but was disqualified on another occasion at Down Royal. Probably high enough in the weights over hurdles and not seen in action since a spell over fences which culminated at Fairyhouse in November 2016.

This contest makes much more appeal than the previous race with Double Speak and Coolmill again facing off following their clash at Limerick earlier in the month. The latter named is also declared to race here on Wednesday Evening (8.30pm), but the feeling is that Double Speak probably has enough about him quality wise (ex Henry De Bromhead and Andrew McNamara trained) to confirm those placings. The likes of Immortal Bridge and Danequest have every right to be involved based upon recent efforts whilst Patsio could prove interesting (despite a higher mark) back over hurdles after a pleasing run in a competitive Wexford chase latest. However, the selection is DEFINITE INCOME. This mare has arguably been a shade unfortunate over fences and already a three time winner over the smaller obstacles is fancied to gain compensation tonight.
