St Saviourp69
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Tom Cheesman(5)| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  130| CD
7/2
Returns to the fray after a mid-summer break and this previous C&D winner has claims if running anywhere close to his April success. Top yard having just a few runners at present put ticking over nicely.

Dollar And A Dreamt65
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: Benjamin Poste(3)| T: M Mullineaux| OR:  122| D
25/1
Ex-Irish hurdler/chaser doesn't look particularly well handicapped for British bow and debut for new connections. A drop of rain would help the cause but doesn't appear an obvious winner.
3
Horse silk
Our Three Sonsp26
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Page Fuller(5)| T: Jamie Snowden| OR:  118| BF| CD
7/2
Progressive six-year-old who has won two of his last three starts, including over C&D in April. Fair effort latest when runner-up here on ground quicker than ideal and has conditions to suit this time. Should run well.
4

Free Stone Hillt58
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-13| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  117| BF| CD
1/1
Two wins in the spring (including C&D) before good run when close third at Aintree in May. Returns from two-month break, but with yard in fine form is expected to give a good account of himself.

Back To Balloo14
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-11| J: Mitchell Bastyan(7)| T: P Winks| OR:  115| BF| D
7/1
Hit rich vein of form for current yard and won two of his last five starts. Disappointing under amateur rider at Cartmel last time, but with good conditional rider aboard (won on him at Hexham) has to enter calculations.

Forecasts

Free Stone Hill (1/1), Our Three Sons (7/2), St Saviour (7/2), Back To Balloo (7/1), Dollar And A Dream (25/1)

Verdict

FREE STONE HILL is narrowly preferred to St Saviour in what looks a fascinating contest. Expected to be refreshed after a break, the selection has a progressive profile and his yard is in great form. St Saviour has to concede weight all round but is another improver and it would be a brave man that would say he will not do it. He should be bang there. Back to Balloo is in fine fettle at present and cannot be ruled out, while Our Three Sons is another with claims in a good little race.
  1. Free Stone Hill
  2. St Saviour
  3. Our Three Sons
