Looks an improved individual of late and backed up a good run on his penultimate start four days later when winning at Hamilton over 6f off a 6lb lower mark. Was taking on older horses there for the first time and should be competitive back against his own age group off this higher mark.

Failed to back up that run here last time out over 5f and it may well have been that his former problems had returned and may be best watched here from a relatively poor draw.

Interesting contender from an in-form yard who so far has only scored on the AW in a maiden and a handicap (off 75) and is in fact 2/2 on synthetic tracks. His turf form is also decent when faced with a top-of-the ground surface and he looked well ahead of his mark when winning at Kempton (6f) last time and if he can repeat that run here he will be right in the mix.

Probably went off two hard last time out at Pontefract failing to back up her Leicester win just 6 days before although she is well drawn to attack here from a low draw in stall 2.

Has got the plumb draw here if he can use it as he's never been that prominently ridden in the past and had started to look as though he had totally lost his way. A return to the AW and a drop in trip saw him bounce back to some sort of form last time showing he retains his ability but has to build on that run back on turf.

Still a maiden and having only her second run for this yard after leaving Richard Hughes when making her handicap debut last time out at Kempton over 6f. That looked a stiff task and she's dropped a couple of pounds now and well drawn for her second try in a handicap and looks to the sort to keep an eye on in the market for this shrewd yard.

Often leads but not well placed here to do that and steps up to 6f for the first time. Still yet to win a race and did far too much in the lead last time and from 6lb out of the handicap here others are preferred.

Not a particularly inspiring bunch for a 0-90 handicap and very few look to be progressive although two that could be put in that bracket are Comprise and BOUNDSY. The former should be able to get off the mark on turf soon but it’s the latter who gets the vote on the back of his two good recent second places. Love Oasis can be a little inconsistent but she may well get the run of this and has to be a danger while Parys Mountain can’t be left out of the equation back against his own age group. Of the bigger prices it may pay to keep an eye on Captain Sue who might be better than this and hails from a yard who can often improve one from another yard.
