Acclamation colt, cost 10,000 gns as foal, €60,000 as a yearling and 170,000 gns as two-year-old. Dam was a French sprint winner and half-sister to Group 2 winner Beauty is Truth and Listed winner Glorious Sight. Yard capable of readying one for a debut and has to be respected for a yard in flying form.
Worthadd colt, cost €56,000 as a foal, £35,000 as a yearling before being bought for £130,000 at the Breeze-Ups in April. Not beaten far in a pair of maidens and not disgraced at Royal Ascot in a Listed contest last time; sets a decent standard on form.
Dansili colt, half-brother to several winners including Listed winner Pinzolo and dam was a Group 2 winner. Yard capable of readying one for a debut so can't be discounted with top jockey booked and the yard hitting form.
Dubawi colt, half-brother to two-year-old Grade 1 winner Outstrip and dam was a Grade 1 winner over 1m1f. Beautifully bred and yard going well with their juveniles this campaign. Likely to be the stable first-string and yard do well at the course and hold a near 21% strike-rate here.
Shamardal colt, cost 120,000 gns as a foal and 185,000 gns as a yearling. Dam was Listed placed and a half-sister to Listed winner Anna's Rock (dam of Group 2 winner Breton Rock). Raced a little green on debut here over C&D but entitled to come on for that run and do better here.
Famous Name, cost €14,500 as a foal and €20,000 as a yearling. Well beaten on both career starts and likely to need a vast amount of improvement to even place in this contest.
Farhh colt, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to Group 3 winner Queen's Best who herself is the dam of Grade 1 winner Queen's Trust. Likely to be in need of further than this and suspicion is that he may need his debut effort.
Galileo colt, cost €80,000 as a yearling. Dam a Group 3 winner but pedigree suggests he will want further than this. Trainer's newcomers often ready for their debut so can't be discounted. Wears a first-time tongue-tie.
Intello colt, cost €35,000 as a foal and 100,00 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to five winners over a variety of trips and dam was a Listed sprint winner. Yard's debutantes usually need their first run.
War Front colt, cost $575,000 as a yearling. Related to some smart winners in the US and dam was a Grade 3 winner over an extended mile. James Doyle seemingly prefers the chances of Falcon Eye but can't be ruled out if there's any market support. One would imagine he wouldn't want any more rain to fall though.
Simon Crisford's yard have been in excellent form and a chance is taken with AL OZZDI who makes plenty of appeal on paper and could be more forward than most of the other debutantes having been bought through the Breeze-Up sales. Falcon Eye is another interesting newcomer who is the pick of James Doyle and Bustam sets a decent standard on form for the field to aim at after a respectable effort at Royal Ascot.
