Exciting two-year-old who placed in a Listed contest before winning a maiden at Newcastle. Not returned in the same form this time around and wide draw not ideal but yard have hit some form at least.
Looked like a smart prospect on debut but has been disappointing since and he was a no show at Royal Ascot month. Drop in class could well help and trainer has a good record with horses in first time headgear while jockey has a good strike-rate for this yard. Could go well if the blinkers have the desired effect.
Well beaten in a Newmarket maiden on debut but won a maiden at Deauville and form of that race looks respectable. Couldn't follow it up at Saint-Cloud first-time out and handicapper hasn't taken any chances with him.
Very consistent sort who got off the mark at the sixth attempt when winning a Doncaster maiden. Handicapper unusually dropped him 2lb for that win and that decision justified to some extent when he was well beaten at Epsom last time out. Return to faster ground should suit but others may have a little more improvement in them.
Won a weak looking Lingfield maiden on first start of this season and couldn't build on that at Haydock last time. Handicap mark looks harsh on his achievements to date but trainer does well with his runners around here and top international jockey takes the ride.
Promising run on debut was followed up with a maiden success at Newcastle. Has failed to settle on both starts this season but certainly plenty of promise on his latest start at Doncaster and suspicion is that he's well-handicapped.
Won a Lingfield maiden on final start of 2016 and went very close on reappearance at Redcar but form of that contest hasn't really worked out and he's struggled from his revised mark on two subsequent outings. Handicapper dropped him 3lb but needs improvement to figure here.
Won a Newbury maiden on first start this year, rallying gamely under pressure. Possibly went off a little too quick here last time and worth giving another chance and could be even better on the faster ground he should encounter here.
Won twice as a two-year-old in contrasting conditions but has struggled tackling handicaps and well beaten on both starts for this yard. Plenty to prove here.
Very consistent sort but only managed to get his head in front once, that win coming at Chepstow. Handicap mark looks a little harsh on the back of a couple of efforts since that win but trainer does well here and any market support should be noted.
Forecasts
Mojito (9/4), Almoreb (4/1), Mazyoun (5/1), Firefright (11/2), Sultan Baybars (10/1), Zefferino (10/1), Prost (16/1), Ariena (20/1), Tai Sing Yeh (33/1), Kreb's Cycle (40/1)
MOJITO is still unexposed and he could be hard to beat if he settles better. Almoreb was beaten here last time out but he may appreciate the switch to faster ground. Hugo Palmer's yard has been in much better form of late and Mazyoun may be able to get back on track here.
