Held every chance until late in the race on debut when third to Lethal Steps (Dawn Delivers second) over this trip at Leopardstown (good) just over two weeks ago. By War Front out of Together and one of three runners saddled by his trainer in this race. Entitled to be stronger with blinkers added to a tongue tie (worn on debut).
Unraced first foal by Choisir out of Glowing Star, so bred for this kind of trip. Cost £58,000 as a yearling, but in against some potentially useful rivals on debut.
Beaten 11L into third by decisive winner Verbal Dexterity on debut over 7F here last month (soft). By Fast Company out of Cappuchino and cost 65,000 gns as a yearling. Looks like the type to be suited by dropping back in trip today.
Half-brother to six winners including Tillstar, Telegraph and Vampire Blues, but this represents a step up from his Roscommon debut fifth of 12 to Painting Pictures (7F+ soft). Not entirely certain that this drop in trip will be beneficial.
War Front colt whose dam was a winner over an extended mile and she was a sister to Group 1 winner Rip Van Winkle. Looked in need of the experience and a step up in trip when sixth of 12 to Brother Bear at Leopardstown (6F+ good to firm) in early May. One of three runners for the stable.

Unraced fifth foal by Poet's Voice out of Point Perfect who cost €42,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to various winners which include Timothy T. Should be well suited by this trip to start.
Off for a couple of months since finishing sixth of 18 to Romanised on debut at Navan in April (almost 6F, good). This £100,000 yearling can be expected to progress with time and by Dandy Man will be fine over this trip. Brother to Scarborough, and a half-brother to Caesar The Gaeser.
Unraced colt by Dandy Man out of Clytha who cost €65,000 as a yearling. A seventh foal and a half-brother to various winners including Harome and Incendiary. Connections also saddle Dracula Dave, but this colt looks their number one today.
War Front colt and full-brother to Group 2 sprint winner Roly Poly, and has produced a couple of fair efforts over C&D already without winning (including when third to Brother Bear in the Listed Marble Hill Stakes). Finished down the field behind Rajasinghe in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot last week, and this is far easier, but the blinkers go on today.
Plenty of market confidence for her debut at Leopardstown (6F good) a fortnight ago, and that was almost vindicated as she was headed on the line by fellow debutant, the Ger Lyons trained Lethal Steps (Battle Of Jericho third). By Dawn Approach out of Siyasa, this fifth foal is a half-sister to 1m winner Mu'Ajiza. Should go close despite softer ground.
Unraced first foal by Dragon Pulse out of Headford Lady. Her dam was a 7F winner and a sister to Listed placed 7F to 1m winner Headford View, but this looks a competitive enough maiden in which to kick-off her career.

Aidan O'Brien sent out Intelligence Cross to take this contest in 2016, and he is responsible for three of the thirteen runners today, including Coventry Stakes flop US Navy Flag. He has a couple of fair C&D efforts to his name, and his third placing behind Brother Bear in the Listed Marble Hill Stakes makes him the pick, but this race comes up quickly on the back of Royal Ascot and it's disconcerting to see the blinkers applied. O'Brien is also responsible for Battle Of Jericho, and whilst he is also fitted with blinkers he should be sharper than on debut when just under 2L third to Lethal Steps. However, the filly DAWN DELIVERS finished one place in front of him in that contest after attracting good market support, and despite the forecast softer ground, she's capable of going one better with Jim Bolger seemingly well aware this daughter of Dawn Approach has plenty of ability.
