Beat the well fancied Chessman at Newbury two starts back and ran okay in a deeper contest here last time. Others have shown a fair amount more to date though and may need more time to be seen at his best.
Won at Windsor on his second start but couldn't back that up at Newmarket at the end of last season when he was too green to do himself justice. Needs to come on a vast amount for his sole start this year if he's going to make any impression on this field. Top international jockey booked.
Couldn't have won his debut at Dundalk much more impressively and followed up with a fine win at Newmarket on yard debut. Trainer in even better form now and no surprise to see him get involved with conditions set to be right up his street.
Smart colt who has been a little unlucky not to get his head in front on his two most recent starts, heavily backed on each occasion. Clearly well thought of but may find this class of contest coming a bit too soon. Well suited to a fast pace.
Smart winner in a fillies' contest on debut and improved even further at Newmarket on second start. Perhaps found the trip a little too testing in the Guineas but far from disgraced and the winner has franked the form since. Should go well back down in trip if she gets a decent pace to aim at.
Plenty to like about his debut at Newbury and only found one too good at Newbury next time (Tuesday's St James's Paace Stakes winner). Undone by the undulations at Newmarket in the Guineas but this track should be more up his street and likely to enjoy the conditions here. Leading player.
Promising prospect who prevailed on his first couple of starts at Newbury. Disappointing short-priced favourite on final start of 2016 and very green on return at Sandown but there was enough promise in that run to suggest there could be more to come this season. The yard's recent form would be the concern.
Impressive winner at Dundalk on his only start as a juvenile and got his head back in front at that same track this year in a four-runner contest. Found the Irish Guineas too hot last time but back in calmer waters here and more to come at least.
Successful on his first two starts and not beaten far in the French Guineas on his third outing. Winner of that race has come out and won the French Derby since so the form has a solid enough look to it and this trainer's runners have to be respected here.
Winner of three of his first four starts but struggled each-time up at pattern level. Step up in trip needs to bring about plenty of improvement if he's to land a blow but yard did have a big-priced runner run well here on Tuesday (Headway).
Decisive winner of a Newmarket handicap last week but suspicion is that a few of his rivals under-performed in that race and probably worth taking the form with a pinch of salt. Will need to find more in a deeper contest.
Hasn't really gone on from winning a Listed contest at York and well beaten on both starts this campaign. Seen to best effect when he gets a strong pace to track so may do a little better here.
Good winner of a Listed contest at Epsom last time but form of that contest perhaps not the strongest for the grade. Stiff track should suit and likely to be finishing his race off well at the end but may want a step up to the mile to be seen to best effect.
Looked a potentially smart prospect last year but well beaten upped in class on three starts this year. Appears to be the yard's second string on jockey bookings.
A very inconsistent sort, a trait generally not associated with this yard and hard to tell when he is going to put his best foot forward. Probably needs an uncontested lead to be seen to best effect, something he's unlikely to get here.
Two wins from four starts with both of those efforts coming at Newmarket on the different courses. Looks well suited to softer conditions than what he will get here but gets the services of the Champion Jockey and first-time cheekpieces could see him eek out a little more improvement. Each-way player.
Won twice over at the Meydan Carnival this year, proving he goes on the likely fast ground he will get here. Not beaten all that far in the Guineas and unsuited by the way the race developed at Goodwood last time. Worth giving another chance and jockey rides this course well.
Running okay at Listed level but no obvious excuses for his defeat at Epsom last time and needs a big step forward if he is to be seen to best effect in this race.
Won a Listed contest at Newmarket at the start of this season but the form has taken a few knocks since. Sure to enjoy the lightning quick ground here and trainer's runners are usually aimed at this meeting. Should run a big race in first-time blinkers.
Behind Bacchus at Newbury in April but reversed the form with that rival here last time. Worse off at the weights this time around though and needs to prove he can mix it at pattern level.
Forecasts
Le Brivido (2/1), Dream Castle (9/2), Daban (7/1), Whitecliffsofdover (12/1), Winning Ways (14/1), Beat The Bank (18/1), Mubtasim (20/1), Chessman (20/1), Taamol (20/1), Glastonbury Song (22/1), Parfait (25/1), Escobar (25/1), Solomon's Bay (33/1), Top Score (33/1), Spirit of Valor (66/1), Bacchus (66/1), Sir Dancealot (66/1), Sutter County (66/1), True Valour (80/1), Barrington (100/1)
Things didn't pan out for DREAM CASTLE in the Guineas but he should do better on a more conventional track. The form of Le Brivido's French Guineas effort has been backed up since while Daban, Whitecliffsofdover and Escobar are all lively each-way contenders.
