Has looked a real sharp sort so far and progressed from his debut run to maintain his unbeaten record. Made all on his second start and could well put his experience to good use as long as he takes to turf having won both his starts on the AW.

Cost £165,000 as a yearling and his dam was a 5f juvenile winner. Lack of experience proved a real handicap on his debut at Newmarket (ran very green) and not hard to think he might just need another outing or two until the penny drops.

Price increased from a foal to a yearling. Half-brother to three winners, including two-year-old 6f winner Our Cool Cat. Stable are two from six with juveniles this year and have had one debutante winner.

Cost £20,000 as a yearling and overcame running green early to win at Redcar in early April. Form of that event is nothing to write home about but the stable have made an excellent start with their juveniles and he must be respected here.

Tangled

8/1
Half-brother to winner up to 1m1f Peter Mac and winner up to 1m2f Faithful Creek and cost £67,000 as a yearling. Yard have won this three times in the past six years the last time in 2015. Yet to really get going with their juveniles (not as sharp as they used to be) but still worthy of respect in a contest where they have history.

Forecasts

Corinthia Knight (5/6), Inviolable Spirit (3/1), Global Tango (8/1), Tangled (8/1), Frozen Angel (12/1)

Verdict

Of the three that have run the standout duo are INVIOLABLE SPIRIT and Corinthia Knight and it may well be that the Redcar scorer holds a little more value here especially as he’s had some turf experience. Both Global Tango and Tangled come from yards that have plenty of juvenile winners although they may have to give best to the duo with experience here despite the Hannon team having a good record in this contest.
  1. Inviolable Spirit
  2. Corinthia Knight
  3. Tangled
