Didn't get going when fell at the fourth last time out but was close to a career best when narrowly prevailing in a Grade One the time before. He should enjoy the conditions and sets a clear standard for the rest to aim at.

Not quite been at his best this season but he's dangerous if he's allowed to dominate from the front. Likely to need a career best here but should enjoy the conditions at least.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: B J Geraghty| T: N J Henderson| OR:  151

Didn't need to improve to win at Warwick last time when 3/10 favourite for the race. Still more to come and handles conditions so worthy of plenty of respect getting weight from his two main market rivals.

Hurry Henryt125
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-0| J: Tom Cannon| T: B Barr| OR:  129
150/1
Made a creditable start in this sphere so far and still quite lightly raced but this is a massive step up and likely to be a shrewd piece of placing by his trainer rather than a realistic prospect at this level.

Forecasts

Buveur D'Air (1/4), Irving (9/2), Rayvin Black (12/1), Hurry Henry (150/1)

Verdict

While Buveur D'air is likely to be of warm order with an unexposed, exciting profile, there's little chance he will offer any value and IRVING may be the one to side with. He has proven his liking for these conditions and he produced something near his best when winning a Newcastle Grade 1 event two starts back so there's a chance his greater experience will give him an edge over the aforementioned six-year-old. Rayvin Black would be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but he would likely need a career best to land this. 1. Irving 2. Buveur D'air 3. Rayvin Black
