THE NEW ONE has made heavy weather of landing the last two runnings of this when a long odds-on favourite. He forced Yarnworth to pull out all the stops at Kempton on Boxing Day and there is nothing of that calibre in opposition here. L'Ami Serge will be he one to benefit should he fail to deliver. The more testing the ground the better his chances and the weight allowance from THE NEW ONE could be decisive. Irving lost his way following a C&D win here last season.
