YOKOHAMA hasn't tasted success since scoring on debut in a Newcastle maiden last September but he's been quite lightly-raced since and is starting to look well handicapped now, having dropped 9lb since first being assessed.
He shaped a little bit better when fifth (of 13) over this course and distance late last month, despite being housed in stall 12, and he's fared better on that score tonight. The market support this morning looks encouraging.
