Simon Holt expects Mick Channon to strike at Beverley on Thursday and he has three fancies at the Yorkshire track and one bet for Lingfield.
Under another positive ride, Rains Of Castamere can see off his rivals and defy a 5lb rise.
Earlier, a chance is taken with VICTORY ANGEL producing a return to form on his first outing for Rebecca Bastiman in the Pure Broadband Handicap (1.15).
The six-year-old hasn't always been consistent, and lost his way for Robert Cowell last season, but this stiff five furlongs should suit him and he is 12lb lower in the weights since finishing a creditable fourth to On The Warpath in a hot sprint handicap at Newmarket first time out last May.
Historically, Victory Angel has often gone well fresh; he won first time out in 2017 and, the following season, was a close fourth on his reappearance at Newmarket off a mark of 99. Now rated 81, he has every chance of making an impression here if revived by a change of stables.
Another horse who tends to run well fresh is HAYADH - also with the Bastiman yard - and he too has taken a drop down the ratings after some consistent efforts early last term.
Like Victory Angel, the seven-year-old lost his form a bit later on but he won first time out in 2018 and Hayadh's three previous handicap victories have all come off considerably higher marks. If he returns in good heart, a bold bid can be expected in the Follow Us On Twitter For Raceday Updates Handicap (3.50).
Finally, I am hoping that ROUNDABOUT MAGIC will have things run to suit him in the Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap (6.10) at Lingfield, a course where the diminutive sprinter has often done well in the past.
Simon Dow's fast-finisher was putting in good late work when fourth to Equally Fast over the course and distance on Sunday and, with Impart likely to blaze the trail here, he can mow down his rivals late on with that outing under his belt.
