Richard Fahey guide to his Saturday team

Richard Fahey has runners at five meetings on Saturday - check out his thoughts on them all.

Big chances

1345 Newmarket Dance Diva
1515 Redcar Right Action
1950 Ayr Snookered

Dance Diva has taken her racing extremely well and she heads to Newmarket for the German-Thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes.

She’s a filly who has done nothing wrong and we hope the step up to seven furlongs will bring about a bit of improvement here. If it does, she must have a leading chance.

We have three runners at Ascot.

Angel Gabrial is first up in the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Stayers Handicap. He’s been running well of late and while we’ve had no excuses for his last two defeats, I was pleased with both runs. These can be strange races with peculiar results but we head there in good order and I’d love to see this horse get his head in front again.

We’re double-handed in the closing Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Sprint Handicap. I’m not sure Megan Lilly truly stays six furlongs but she won’t mind the ground and we’ll give it a go.

The handicapper is starting to give Private Matter a bit of a chance. He’s run better than his finishing position would suggest the last few times and while I’m not saying he’ll win this, I think he’ll run a decent race. We're trying him in a first-time hood as well to see if that helps.

Gabrial’s King disappointed me a little at York last time but is a horse who can do that. On his best form he’d have a small chance in the Betfred Haydock Park Ladies' Trophy Handicap.

Gabrial wasn’t at his best at Pontefract last month – but is a horse who can bounce back from such performances. However he’ll need to be on his A Game over ten furlongs in the Betfred Rose Of Lancaster Stakes. He won’t mind the ground though.

Dark Devil is one for whom the recent rain was very good news. He too needs to leave his recent form behind but I wouldn’t draw a line through him in the Betfred Duke Of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry Handicap.

Marwan Koukash was keen to drop Gabrial The Tiger back to six furlongs in the Betfred Supports Jack Berry House Handicap and he ran well at Chester the last time. It will be interesting to see how he goes at the shorter trip here.

We’ve two runners at Redcar and both hopefully have chances.

Right Action has been running well of late, we’ve been very pleased with him, and he should go well in the Market Cross Jewellers Handicap.

Rashford’s Double has been a disappointing horse. He was one I was really looking forward to at the start of the season. He did run a little better at Ascot last time, dropping away late in his first run back from a break. Ground and trip look ideal here and I just hope he runs his race in the Racing UK Straight-Mile Series Handicap.

I was delighted to see Snookered get his head in front at Beverley last time – he deserved that. You always worry that horses who’ve been running consistently well without winning as he had miss out sometimes. Hopefully getting his head in front will do him a bit of good and track and trip look ideal for him in the QTS Training Handicap at Ayr. Any rain would help.

Lady In Question is another who has been frustrating as she works very well. We still don’t know what her trip is but I thought she ran better at Chester last time and I don’t think she’d need to improve much on that to be competitive in the Gas Sure & James Frew Handicap.
