ASIAN SPICE – 2.30 Windsor (NAP)
Jumps racing returns to Windsor for the first time in 19 years on Sunday and Jimmy Frost’s ASIAN SPICE could win her second race running in the Fitzdares Windsor Castle Mares' Handicap Hurdle. She looked better than ever at Exeter last month when winning by five lengths and on that evidence the drop back to two miles will be no problem. Up 6lb, another career-best is probably required, but that’s not unlikely in her current mood and Harry Cobden has been booked for the ride.
LEITRIM CHIEF – 12.25 Carlisle
James Ewart’s LEITRIM CHIEF looks to be building to a win over fences and he could strike in the racingtv.com Novices' Handicap Chase at Carlisle. The eight-year-old former pointer came on for his chasing debut when third at Hexham in testing ground in April, in open handicap company, unlucky not to finish much closer after being badly hampered by the faller two from home. It was encouraging to see him renew his effort after that and from a mark of 104 he’s of interest back against novice handicappers.
