FOUR ADAAY - 8.00 Kempton (NAP)
She may not be the force of old but FOUR ADAAY is more than capable of having a say in this company from her current mark. Her first six career wins came from ratings between 66 and 74 with her most recent off 65 in September; half a dozen mainly respectable runs later and she is back off 63. Her latest spin came in a 0-80 (class 4) over C&D but she drops into a 0-65 for only her second class 6 having finished in the three on 15 of her 32 starts in class 5s. In short, this is her grade and she's well drawn to go forwards under a jockey who is always a positive booking for the yard and has won twice (six rides, three further placed) on this mare.
MISTRESS EMMA - 3.50 Market Rasen
MISTRESS EMMA is on a fair mark for her handicap debut with her last two races working out quite well. Youdecide was 15 lengths adrift of her in third at Newbury and won well on his handicap debut off 90 while the first two home from Warwick finished third and fourth in the Mares' EBF Final at the weekend with Pismo Beach reversing the form with I Am The Moon. She raced keenly that day so the drop back to two miles seems sure to suit, as will the quicker surface.
TIME INTERVAL - 4.07 Hereford
It's been a lean year for David Dennis with TIME INTERVAL's C&D win in May only one of two for the stable but the seven-year-old shaped well enough here last time to think that there are more races to be won with him. Held-up off the pace on his first run since a flat outing in December, he was doing all of his best work at the finish in a race that was dominated by prominent racers. Entitled to be sharper for the run and dropped 2 lbs in the weights, Time Interval should be more competitive here.
Thursday selections
MEDIA MOGUL - 3.20 Wolverhampton (NAP)
He pulled clear of the rest when touched off by Market House on handicap debut and compensation may well wait MEDIA MOGUL here.
Ed Walker’s charge looked a surefire future winner at Gosforth Park and was still a little rough around the edges. If his profile of race-by-race progression continues then he’ll be hard to beat.
WHAT’S ONE MORE - 3.57 Warwick
She’s been a work in progress over hurdles and WHAT'S ONE MORE is fancied to put her best foot forward at Warwick.
Emma Lavelle’s charge was too keen upped in trip when fourth at Fontwell last time but went like a well handicapped horse. The drop back to the minimum distance on Thursday is a plus.
SCORSESE - 5.10 Southwell
He had plenty left in the tank when opening his account on these shores at Sedgefield last time and SCORSESE is fancied to follow up under his seven pounds penalty.
The seven-and-a-half lengths defeat of Benefit Ben represented improved form, the drop back to this trip proving in his favour and there should be more to come.
STAR LEGEND - 5.30 Chelmsford
He’s been knocking on the door this season and STAR LEGEND is fancied to claim an overdue win.
James Owen's charge is readily forgiven a below-par run at Southwell last time having been out of his ground and he drops into a Class 6 for the first time on Thursday with the blinkers back on.
