Rory Delargy and David Massey have been in fine form recently and look to add to their profits with a look ahead to today's racing.

1:54 Newbury
Tom Symonds continues in decent form and with that you can easily give Issam a chance. He really wants it soft, all three of his wins for the yard have come on ground described as soft or heavy by Timeform, so conditions should be right up his street. There was nothing wrong with his Welsh Champion Hurdle fourth at Ffos Las on his reappearance, form that’s already working out with second home Steel Ally winning a competitive handicap at Haydock last weekend, and like Lac Du Constance, he’ll be held up for a late effort. A solid each-way proposition, in our book.
2:25 Newbury
There are no fitness concerns with the consistent and improving Ooh Betty, and she looks the value at present. Third in the competitive EBF Mares Final here in March, she appeared to not quite get the 2m4f trip and that was backed up when she took on Golden Ace at Cheltenham a month later. Holding a chance at the last, only a length down, she faded up the hill and again looked more a two-miler than further.
And that looked very much the case when she appeared at Sandown back over two miles, travelling strongly throughout and putting the race to bed in a few strides as they came to the last. Essentially a strong stayer at two miles, she’ll appreciate the likely good pace on here and can give us an each-way return for our money, at worst.
3:35 Newbury
Etalon has plenty of weight to carry but his rating of 140 is likely to prove lenient and connections were reportedly mulling an Arkle bid in the spring. A strapping sort, he’s built to carry weight and looked in need of the run when a well-beaten 5th in the Haldon Gold Cup on his return, where he also found the ground too lively. In truth, he might need another run to put him spot on, but he has the class to concede weight to his rivals if at his best.
