Alan King's charge may never have got his head in front over hurdles but he showed a fair level of form. Chasing was always going to be his game and he's a fascinating runner from a mark of 117 on his first try over the larger obstacles.

Shaped really well on his handicap debut at Lingfield last time under George Bass who keeps the ride here. David Simcock's charge is entitle to improve or that run and must go close despite top weight here.

Paul Webber's charge shaped as though needing the run on his seasonal reappearance at Lingfield and will strip fitter here. Wayne Hutchinson takes over in the saddle and his partner has dropped to an attractive handicap mark.
