Timeform's US Racing expert Jake Price is back with his tip for tonight's stateside action.
Eight runners are set go to post in the one mile allowance on the main track at Laurel Park that goes as the penultimate race on today’s card and RED HAT HANNA can land a third success on just her fourth start.
She began her racing career back in August making a winning start sprinting in a maiden claimer at Timonium. Next out she ran in an off-turf allowance at Laurel but, after going off the odds-on chalk, disappointed in finishing last of the five starters. Admittedly, that looked quite a deep race and a lack of experience may have worked against her.
She was then seen at the end of October in another allowance at Laurel over today’s distance and went wire-to-wire from the widest gate, controlling the tempo and going on to score by 4 lengths.
Looking at the projected pace in today’s race there’s a good chance Red Hat Hanna may get her own way out in front once again and also enhance her trainer’s 28% strike-rate over the last thirty days.
