Sky Bet market movers and racing Price Boosts

We round-up the early movers from Sky Bet, detail today's raft of Price Boosts and provide you with a tip from the traders!

Market Movers

Salisbury: Charlie Appleby's Skiffle has been nibbled at in the feature Listed race as she bids to rebuild her reputation but there has been more support for Justice Lady to defy top-weight and a career high mark in the third. The 4.20 is for horses that haven't won a flat race this year but perhaps the combination of Jim Crowley in the saddle and first time blinkers can help course winner Viking Hoard land the riches for those who have backed him at fancy prices.

2:50 - Justice Lady 11/2 into 7/2

3:20 - Surrey Hope 6/1 into 4/1

3:50 - Skiffle 7/1 into 5/1

4:20 - Viking Hoard 25/1 into 12/1

Newton Abbot: Charlie Rascal made a winning start to life over hurdles for Neil Mulholland and is clearly fancied to continue the good work while another of Richard Johnson's rides (see Price Boost below), The Geegeez Geegee, has also been well backed. Olly Murphy has made a flying start since setting up on his own after a spell with Gordon Elliott and the Stratford handler has fitted The Geegeez Geegee with a tongue strap and cheekpieces for his stable debut.

2:00 - Charlie Rascal 3/1 into 9/4

4:00 - Pengo’s Boy 12/1 into 9/1

4:30 - The Geegeez Geegee 2/1 into 13/8

sportinglife best bets 16-8

Beverley: A relatively quiet start to punting proceedings at Beverley with the exception of the sprint handicap at 5.45. There has been support for the Mark Johnston trained Bailey's Excelerate to build on the promise that he showed on debut at Musselburgh.

3:10 - Bailey’s Excelerate 9/2 into 5/2

5:45 - Pea Shooter 12s into 15/2, Crosse Fire and Kibaar both 16s into 11s

Gowran: Mount Wellington has had more opportunities than his opponents and has been backed to make that experience tell while the market suggests that William McCreery's maiden winner Outside Inside could be fairly treated for her handicap bow as she's been very popular. So, too, has Hazama following a recent, encouraging debut over course and distance.

4:55 - Mount Wellington 2/1 into 6/4

5:30 - Outside Inside 3/1 into 15/8

6:00 - Bold Knight 7/1 into 9/2

8:00 - Hazama 8/1 into 9/2

Bangor: Just the one to mention so far and the combination of Kerry Lee and Jamie Moore have enjoyed plenty of success in recent years and their course and distance winner isn't badly treated on his return from a 466-day absence.

6:20 - Itshard To No 8/1 into 9/2

Kempton: Jeremy Noseda's Quargent has been all the rage to build on an encouraging debut in a hot Newmarket maiden while Counter Spirit is another once-raced runner to have attracted support with Silvestre de Sousa an eyecatching booking. The mover for Queensbrydge is less obvious but she was fourth in a Group Three at the track last season.

6:40 - Quargent 5/2 into 11/10

7:10 - Elizabeth Bennett 9/4 into 6/4

7:40 - Counter Spirit 14/1 into 8/1

8:40 - Queensbryrdge 50/1 into 25/1

9:10 - Howardian Hills 12/1 into 8/1

Traders' Tip

2:30 Newton Abbot- Watcombe Heights @ 13/2

The National Hunt season is just around the corner and jumps racing returns today from a 12 day summer break. There are competitive cards at Bangor and Newton Abbot and today’s selection comes from the latter. Watcombe Heights showed very useful form when hacking up on debut in a bumper here in July 2014 beating Boru’s Brook (now rated 136). His only subsequent run was in a listed Newbury bumper behind Barters Hill, Buveur D’Air and Altior to name but a few and there was no disgrace being beaten by those. It goes without saying this is an awful lot easier and if he retains the ability shown on his only previous starts he should take all the beating against relatively modest rivals.
