Henry De Bromhead's outsider Put The Kettle On (16/1) produced in a game performance to beat five-year-old Fakir D'Oudairies in the Racing Post Arkle.
The six-year-old mare was sent off a 16/1 chance in the hands of Aidan Coleman, who had ridden her to victory at Cheltenham on her previous public outing back in November.
She was to the fore throughout in what looked like a strongly-run affair and while Joseph O'Brien's Fakir D'Oudairies laid down a strong challenge after he made a mistake at the final fence, Put The Kettle On battled on bravely to score by a length and a half, with Rouge Vif running on from towards the rear to fill the places - a further 18 lengths adrift - ahead of Global Citizen.
It was a second win in the race for De Bromhead, following Sizing Europe's success in the race 10 years ago.
The major disappointment of the race was the winner's stablemate Notebook who faded to finish sixth, while Esprit Du Large fell two when beginning to feel the heat, hampering Maire Banrigh in the process.
The winning jockey said: "All the way I absolutely was having some craic - then turning in, I was going to be sick if I got beaten.
"She's a good mare - I turned off the bend and gave her a kick down to the second last and she absolutely lifted into the middle of it and I thought 'brilliant, we're away now'.
"Then I was just praying. If she'd have got beat she'd have been very unlucky, but she's a very good mare.
"It's her jumping - it is a joy to behold. She's just brilliant."
After welcoming back the winner, De Bromhead said: "It's amazing, brilliant, absolutely delighted for the guys (in the One For Luck Racing ownership syndicate).
"She's such a tough mare."
