Trainer George Scott has hit the ground running this season and Doncaster winner George Peabody features among the five horses he's given Oli Bell to follow.
AU CLAIR DE LUNE
She made a very pleasing seasonal reappearance at Kempton on March 31, when winning over a trip on the short side for her.
I can see her being competitive in stakes company over an extended trip - I mile and three-quarters plus.
SARVAN
He ran well at Doncaster but I feel the ground was a bit too fast for him. I can imagine him winning a valuable Saturday handicap, especially when the ground comes up soft.
He will go on improving I'd have though.
TOO FRIENDLY
We're extremely excited by this colt. He won his maiden at Doncaster in good fashion, from a few well-touted horses in powerful yards.
He'll now go for a Derby trial, most likely at Epsom itself or at Sandown, but he's also in the Dante and a 10-furlong conditions race at Newbury on Friday this week. We'll see how he is.
GEORGE PEABODY
He hosed up on his second start at Doncaster.
He's a beautiful horse with a very nice pedigree and we'll be working back from either the Jersey Stakes or the Britannia with him, with a bit of luck. He's in again at Kempton this week.
SIMULATION THEORY
He won a nursery on his last start at two and has done well physically, but was a touch disappointing on his comeback at Newcastle.
He's only rated 73 but I could actually see him ending up contesting some of the nicer three-year-old handicaps through the summer as well. He'll improve for the reappearance run.
