It's typically competitive fare at Dundalk with eight races on including some very trappy handicaps where I can't find a huge amount of value.
But in the Hollywoodbets Maiden at 3.40 SISTER ROSETTA is currently priced at a general 2/1 and looks the bet.
She's had five runs but she's mixed in some good company and was only beaten a short-head on debut at the Curragh. She ran below par on extremely heavy ground at Leopardstown in late-August and then she ran back on Irish Champions Weekend, when beaten four lengths into sixth behind Monday in a Listed race.
Then 13 days later she ran third to Mehnah over seven furlongs at Dundalk which, having been sent off 2/1 favourite, does read like a disappointing performance. But when you look at the form and how it's worked out, with the second Fantasy Lady going on to win a Listed race on her next start, then it's obviously decent enough.
I do think Sister Rosetta, on the back of some tough races, was just a bit off her best the last day and I like the fact she's had time off now and dropping to six furlongs looks a plus.
Crucially, she's drawn well in stall five while main market rival Provocateuse is drawn in stall 12 and I'm also unsure about her over the six furlongs, she's so quick.
Lion Ring flashed her tail on debut and might not be straightforward, while Russian River was well backed on debut but failed to deliver having won a barrier trial here and has worn a tongue-tie both starts now and is another to take on.
