Fran Berry has three selections for Leopardstown's meeting on Tuesday including a rare Flat runner for Henry De Bromhead.
An early start at Leopardstown and fast ground as you'd expect with the nice weather in Ireland. In the first race, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (Plus 10), we've got one of the '30 to follow' going for Aidan O'Brien and Seamie Heffernan. ENNISTYMON was a major eyecatching on debut and the form doesn't tell the whole story.
She didn't get a good trip but finished off very nicely. She's a Galileo and is a filly we've been waiting on all year. You'd expect her to be a short price but I'd be a bit disappointed if she wasn't up to winning her maiden.
Jessica Harrington's filly Unknown Pleasures has some solid enough form and could put up most resistance.
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden (Plus 10)has a similar look to it in that Aidan O'Brien's Tiger Moth made a promising debut, taking a little bit of time to warm up. The winner runs later on the card here.
Stablemate Dawn Patrol also made a decent debut on bad ground and could progress, while Order Of Australia goes in blinkers for the first time. It should be an informative race.
Russian Emperor made up a lot of ground late to win at the start of the season and looks capable of taking the step up in trip in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes (Group 3). Iberia is more exposed but has a solid profile and must be respected but the main danger could be Sunchart, who was dead impressive at Tipperary in October.
But there's only six runners so no each-way play there.
The Leopardstown Fillies Trial Stakes (Group 3) looks competitive and the draw, along with a good start, will be crucial. Tango is talented and has experience from the Breeders' Cup and another major races. A New Dawn doesn't look well drawn in stall 14 and the one I like at an each-way price is KNOW IT ALL.
I thought she ran a huge race when last seen but just got swamped by two decent Joseph O'Brien horses. I think the fast ground here will suit her very well. Johnny Murtagh isn't sure as to whether she's a miler or a sprinter but I feel the middle seven furlong trip could suit her well.
Year Of The Tiger will be odds-on I suspect for the Holden Plant Rental (C & G) Trial Stakes (Listed) but Dark Vader is a promising horse and ran a good race against older horses at Naas in March. He could be suited by this trip.
There are three tricky races to end the card and the only sneak each-way bet I'm happy to recommend is REDDIAC who has bits and pieces of form from his time with Ed Dunlop and starts out for Henry De Bromhead in the Leopardstown Handicap. Henry does well with his Flat recruits and Rachael Blackmore is in the saddle.
