Collective Power can open his account dropping back to sprinting at Dundalk today - check out Fran Berry's preview and tips.
Two bets at Dundalk today and my strongest fancy of the day is COLLECTIVE POWER in the six-furlong nursery at 4.15.
The dam was a winner a couple of times over six furlongs and this colt had three runs before finishing fourth on handicap debut over seven furlongs here last month.
He ran really well considering the way he pulled just about all the way and he got a bad check between the two and the one-pole before keeping on.
Dropping back to six furlongs with Oisin Orr on board looks a good move and he's well worth another chance at this trip off the same mark.
The price is falling but I'd be happy with him each-way right down to 5/1.
The other fancy comes in the first race and MS THOMPSON did well to dead heat here last week given the way it panned out for her.
She's gone up 5lb but isn't exposed by any means.
In a race with a lot of them looking suspect at the trip, she's nailed on in terms of stamina and looks a really solid bet each-way.
The feature median auction race (3.40) looks between Messidor, Hale Bopp and Let Me Pass and perhaps the latter is the one dropping down in trip after winning over a mile here recently.
I'd be a bit wary of Joseph O'Brien's Messidor, though, so won't recommend a bet at this stage. If Let Me Pass - who is rated 92 - drifts any more he'd probably be a bet around the 6/1 mark against the two at the top of the market.
