INDIGNATION looks an each-way bet in the Paddy Power Bet On This Race And Get A Free Bet For Keeneland Handicap at the Curragh this afternoon.

John McConnell’s horses are going very well and this horse ran well when I put him up at Dundalk two weeks ago and to my mind he’s more of a grass horse with a bit of cut in the ground.

He travelled well at Dundalk but just seemed to lack a bit of a kick going to the furlong pole, so he’s open to more improvement back on the turf.

His wide draw is perhaps not ideal, but I’m prepared to chance that given his unexposed nature and if he comes on for that Dundalk run I don’t see him being out of the frame.

Sky Bet are going six places on the race and with Simon Torrens taking 5lb off we’ll take the 9/1 with them.

I’ve also got three bets at Dundalk this evening kicking off with BUCKY LARSON in the HOLLYWOODBETS Handicap at 5.45.

He has a very good polytrack record having run five times here and he’s been in the first three on three occasions, while he should’ve been in the money here last time when fifth.

About 150 yards from home he was just getting going when squeezed up between horses and was still only beaten less than two lengths.

He’s only 3lb higher than his last winning mark and is a fairly unexposed five-year-old. He’s bang in the mix this evening from stall eight and he looks a solid each-way play at 11/2.

In the Join Us On Instagram @dundalk_stadium Handicap at 7.15 I’ll take more of a chance with PLUNKETT at 14/1.

He was set a tough task on handicap debut at Galway in September but he didn’t run too badly, despite his finishing position, in a 0-70 here two starts ago.

He’s come down 4lb since then and is in a 0-65 now, but it was his run at Gowran Park last time that makes him a bet this evening.

Third behind Flight Command, it paid to be on the stands’ side that day and this horse made his run down the far side, showing up plenty well for long enough.

Top claimer Dylan Browne McMonagle is on board which seals the deal at 14s with the four places.

Finally, back Jim Bolger's LEGAL THRILLER in the lucky last at 5/1.

She won here seven days ago when getting off the mark for the first time on her first go on the polytrack and she had a very wide trip last week, racing four wide, and still managed to get up and win.

She’s only gone up 3lb, she’s got a good draw in six and the step up in trip should suit as well.
