Timeform's US Racing expert Jake Price is back with his tip for tonight's stateside action.
BLUSH was never involved having a first run in North America last out but can fare much better back in a realistic spot today.
Formerly with Carlos Laffon-Parias, Blush won four times in France earlier this season. She broke her maiden on Chantilly’s synthetic track in March before finishing down the pack in the Group 3 Prix Vanteaux at Longchamp next out.
She really blossomed as she recorded a treble on turf over the course of early summer. She won twice at Compiegne before taking a hike in class to score in the Group 3 Prix Chloe at Chantilly.
Blush then lined up in the Grade 1 E. P. Taylor Stakes at Woodbine against just four other fillies and mares. Only the winner, Full Count Felicia, got into the race, beating Moira by 3 lengths. The latter then went onto reverse the form in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
The larger field should ensure a better pace scenario today and big things are likely expected of her being out of Lady Of Shamrock – a two-time Grade 1 winner on US turf.
