The victory of Society Red at Lingfield last week provided trainer Richard Fahey with the 3000th win of his career.
The number breaks down to 2823 Flat winners in the UK, 141 over jumps, 18 Flat and one National Hunt in Ireland, 14 winners in France and one apiece in Dubai, Sweden and Canada.
"I knew I was close to 3000 and was obviously very pleased to pass it last week," the trainer said.
"These are obviously testing times for everyone but it was great to get there and I have to pay tribute to the the team at Musley Bank who have worked so hard over the years to help me get there. The focus now is on the next winner though and touch wood we've plenty to look forward to in 2021."
Fahey has already moved on to 3002 courtesy of the victories of Lion's Vigil and Aradous at Southwell and has had a host of top-class horses through his hands over the years including Ribchester, Mayson, Wootton Bassett and Sands Of Mali.
