Egan rode 61 winners in 2017 with Ryan 21 – but the latter, one of the rising stars in the apprentice ranks, has already booted home ten this year and is based with Richard Hannon.

Nicola Currie is 6/1 with George Wood the only other rider at a single-figure price (8/1).
