Alternative Fact
This Listed placed son of Dalakhani has always been a horse close to my heart and after going off the boil slightly was very impressive last time out when winning at Newmarket in a competitive handicap. He has wintered well and should be ready to go once racing resumes.
Red Verdon
Having had a good campaign last year highlighted when winning the John Smith's Silver Cup. He has come on for his run at Chelmsford and is in good order ahead of an exciting campaign.
Three-year-olds
Ahbdab
This son of the late Shamardal is a strong, well built and powerful looking horse. He has done well for his break and has been pleasing in his work at home. He should hopefully progress into a nice horse this year.
Master The Stars
This son of Sea the Stars ran a promising maiden last year when running fifth in what is looking like a competitive event at Yarmouth. He has done very well over the winter and looks a stronger and more powerful horse. I am hopeful of him progressing into a nice type.
Burano Boy
He was impressive first up run in a decent maiden at Newmarket where he ran on after being initially quite green to finish 6th. This son of Footstepsinthesand has done well over the winter and should hopefully be capable of breaking his maiden when racing resumes.
Take Me To The Sky
He has done nothing but impress me over the winter and has done physically very well. He showed his ability last year when running good races in all of his first three assignments. He should be competitive of 75 and I am confident he will progress.
Virgin Snow
This daughter of Gleneagles out of six times Group One Winner and classic heroin Snow Fairy like her mother has taken time to furnish. She has put on condition over the winter and looks a stronger three-year-old. I am hopeful she will progress further after her promising runs in novices last year and hopefully pick up some black type.
Two-year-olds
John Leeper
This colt by the undefeated champion Frankel out of six time Group One winner Snow Fairy needs very little introduction. A well-built and scopey colt he looks to have all the attributes needed to be a racehorse. He has been cantering at home and has done everything that has been asked of him so far.
Tritskie Mixie
This daughter of Equiano is a compact racey sort who knows her job well. She has done a couple of pieces of work and has pleased me in both. I expect her to be ready to go and will hopefully be competitive in a five to six furlong maiden when racing resumes.
New Approach colt x Princess Cammie
This Chestnut son of New Approach is a lovely free moving colt. He is still got a bit of growing to do but has impressed me in everything he has been asked of so far. He will likely take a bit of time but should be running in seven furlong to mile maidens later on in the year.
