This is a modest handicap hurdle made up of in and out performers. It's very difficult to pick out a horse who will definitely run their race.
However, there is a bit of a lurker in amongst these that could have a bit of improvement in him. The horse I'm taking about is MARBLE MIST (click here for Sky Bet odds) for Evan Williams at 14/1 (general price).
Before his last run, which was his handicap debut, he had one run in a bumper and four runs in novice hurdles with his SP ranging from 50/1 to 250/1.
On his handicap debut Williams applied the blinkers and tongue-tie over a trip of 2m 6f and in the context of the race he runs in today it wasn't too bad an effort.
He returns this afternoon after a three-month lay-off and the tongue-tie remains on with no blinkers.
It's interesting he takes a big step down in trip and that he has a few entries later on in the week.
Williams is in form and has banged in a few winners of late, so, taking all these reasons into account, Marble Mist is worth a play at 14/1.
