6.10 KEMPTON PREVIEW

A few horses are coming off wins in this apprentices' handicap and they include Phosphorescence, who has notched back to back victories after a 14 month lay-off. However, those two wins have been seven months apart.

He's obviously had a few issues, but is still handicapped to go close and is a horse who stays further so I expect him to be ridden positively from stall 11.

Believe It has been thriving of late and there is no reason to think he won't go close again. He should bag the rail from a decent draw and could get to the front without exerting himself. Now off a mark of 83, he has to step up again.

MUTHRAAB ALDAAR ran two promising races over seven furlongs before stepping up in trip and winning well last time out.

It's hard to know what the form amounts to but he won in good fashion having run keenly enough early on.  There is more pace on paper today which should help him settle a bit better. Isobel Francis takes a handy 5lb off and if things drop right for him today he should go close with 6/1 a fair price.

Ataman has claims on his run at Lingfield and the drop down to one mile should suit, but he remains a maiden. A horse tackling a longer distance is Easy Code, having tumbled 10lb in the handicap in the space of three runs and it's interesting William Haggas has opted for a drastic step up in trip today.

RUNAIOCHT may appreciate the drop down to a mile and if there is a good pace he could be finishing with a rattle and hit the places or better at 25/1.
