The two horses heading the market are Golden Birthday and Rosetti, both coming off wins. Of the two, I think Golden Birthday may have more in hand and expect him to go close again.
Magie Du Ma was a very expensive purchase from France and made his debut in the UK in the Triumph Hurdle finishing ninth. He was beaten a long way at Warwick but he may go better on decent ground today off a lower mark.
The horse I like is LIMITED RESERVE. An improving sort he won twice in the winter for Paul Morgan. On his debut for Christian Williams he ran a cracker finishing second to Stamp Your Feet in a fiercely-competitive handicap at Haydock in April.
He was turned out again at Sandown after a couple of weeks and didn't quite see out the trip having hit the front soon enough. There is also a chance the race may have come soon enough after a big run at Haydock.
Having had a five-week break, since and still off a mark of 122, I think he has the most solid form in the race and will take all the beating. The 9/1 available early on Sunday evening was huge, but 11/2 is still worth a play.
