Nigel Twiston-Davies has been banging in the winners of late and his representative SPLASH OF GINGE looks overpriced today.
He's won some decent races both over hurdles and fences in the past few years. An exuberant sort I've always felt he has struggled to see out real staying distances and today's trip just shy of two and a half miles should be perfect for his seasonal debut.
Last season he performed to a very high standard over hurdles and if he can replicate that form today over chases he looks handicapped to go close.
I'm pretty sure he will get a positive ride today and if finding a rhythm in his fencing he could be hard to pass. 12/1 looks overpriced.
