It's not too long ago TURBAN was competing in top-class handicaps under the guidance of Willie Mullins but since joining Paul Henderson his form has declined rapidly, to the point where he is now rated 112.
He did win off this mark in a falsely-run race at Plumpton during the spring and beat a solid yardstick in Oliver's Hill as he made all that day but I think he will be ridden with patience here as there is some pace on paper.
Having looked a bit fed up with the game, catching him fresh may be the best time to throw a few quid on him and 11/1 he's worth chancing.

Horses with form over hurdles in this novice event don't look like world beaters and Ian Williams proves time and again he's a wizard with his dual purpose performers.
His representative GRAND INQUISITOR has been on the improve on the Flat and coming from a yard which does very well with its jumpers, I'm confident he will have the aptitude for hurdling. If this is the case, he will be very hard to beat.
