I thought DESILVANO would make up into a really nice older horse a few years back. He has obviously had his problems and in the process he has slipped to a handy mark. He could get an easy time up front today and if ready to go, could outrun odds of 33/1.

The top of the market is headed by a few exposed sorts. Crafty Roberto struggles to get his head in front. Flashman isn't the easiest conveyance but loves Plumpton and Saffron Prince has never won off a mark as high as this, but at least arrives in good form.
For me it all leaves the door open for a horse who may have more to come and the one who fits this criteria is DARK MAHLER.
The Emma Lavelle-trained six-year-old showed a bit on his only sole point start. This was followed by three hurdle runs with promise shown on his last two efforts.
Making his handicap debut over fences today off 106, he looks capable of proving competitive.
The yard enjoyed a winner who was returning off a break at the weekend and, in a modest-looking contest, 5/1 looks worth chancing.
