Over the last few months Richard Hobson has received a few horses owned by Carl Hinchy from the stables of Kevin Frost and Rebecca Curtis.
On a whole he has done well with these horses and the combination of trainer/owner operate at a 31% strike rate (5 wins from 16 runners).
RACING PULSE was a very promising novice three years back and was talked about as a possible Sky Bet Supreme horse for the John Quinn yard.
Under Rebecca Curtis, he won one race off a 130 last year over chases but has been more miss than hit since.
There was more than a glimpse of promise at Cheltenham on New Year's day where he showed up for a long way in a hot handicap but weakened out of it in the last quarter of a mile.
His last two runs have been poor and I'm pinning my hopes on the stable change to spark a revival.
There is a bit of pace on paper in the race and I hope Alain Cawley can get the horse jumping early and hopefully creep into the race.
He has dropped down to mark of 125 and running fresh for his new yard it could be the perfect time to back him at a present best price of 11/2.
